Matt Anderson, of the Referral Authority, has grown his business exclusively by referrals and now speaks and coaches in the US, Canada, UK and the Middle East. He specialises in training and coaching financial advisers how to build referral-based businesses.
Referral coaching clients come from independent advisers as well as companies including Standard Life, Robert W Baird, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Ameriprise, and Bernstein. He spoke at Million Dollar Round Table in June in Vancouver and at the Institute of Financial Planners annual conference in Newport in September.
As well as being published in Professional Adviser and featured in Citywire in the UK, Matt has been published US in Advisor Today, National Underwriter, and he is a regular contributing author to Horsesmouth.com. Matt is the author of Fearless Referrals, which Brian Tracy, author of The Psychology of Sales, says “teaches you the “Golden Rules” for developing a continuous chain of high quality referrals for any product in any business.”
He hails from Coventry but is based in Chicago where he enjoys local customs such as sitting in traffic, refusing to use his indicators, never letting other motorists merge into his lane and driving at least 50 mph over any posted speed limit at all other times.
